Staff Spotlight: Noel Daly

Noel Daly joined Winters Property Management company just over a decade ago and has over 20 years experience working within property management in the private and public sector in both the UK & Ireland.

Noel initially joined Winters as a property manager and then advanced to become a senior property manager and recently in 2019, Noel became the Head of Property Management overseeing the customer service team and the team of property managers.

Noel is currently a member of SCSI and is also going to be undertaking the role as an external examiner for IT Sligo’s property services course launched in 2019.

Winters Property Management was named Property Management Company of the Year at the 2016 and 2017 Irish FM Awards a great achievement which Noel contributed greatly to.

When asked what the best aspect of working within property management was, Noel said he enjoys the interaction and variety between dealing with clients, contractors and fellow colleagues each day.

 

We asked Noel to answer the following in short:

Favourite work memory?

There are many but most are not printable.

What do you like most about your job?

The wide variety of people you meet from customers to colleagues and contractors.  

If you could switch your job with anyone else within Winters, whose job would you want and why?

Ian Hutchinson – Senior Sales Agent- if you know him you’ll know why.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

I enjoy most sports, I have a Connacht Rugby season ticket and support Millwall Football Club from afar.

If you had a choice between two superpowers, being invisible or flying, which would you choose?

Being invisible

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t head of Property Management?

An accountant

What do you absolutely hate doing?

Washing the dog

What is your Biggest achievement?

Certainly being appointed head of property management was a stand out achievement. I also won an Ireland gold medal in the relay when I was younger, county final winner with Renmore at u-16 and my biggest achievement of ‘Athlete of the Year’ in Scoil Chaitríona, Renmore.

What is your greatest fear?

Completing employee spotlight questionnaires!
